The Print - Paxford is one of those Cotswolds hamlets that feels like a secret. Barely a handful of houses, a country pub, and fields that dissolve into soft morning mist - the kind that hangs low over the hedgerows and turns everything silver and still. It's a quiet, unhurried beauty, and that's exactly what we wanted to capture. We took that misty stillness to Jaipur, where our patterns are brought to life using traditional wooden printing blocks - some hand-carved, some treasured vintage blocks passed down through generations of artisans - and pressed into pure cotton using vibrant, ethical dyes. The result is the Paxford Mist - a luxury block-print dressing gown with the calm of a Cotswolds morning woven into every thread.
The Product - Slip it on after a bath and feel the difference that 100% breathable cotton makes - weightless, soft, and cool against the skin. This is a gown for slow Sunday mornings, for the quiet ritual of a good cup of tea, for the moments that are just yours. Every piece is hand-printed by skilled artisans in Jaipur, which means every gown is slightly, beautifully different. The imperfections are the point. That's what makes it yours.
The Mooch Detail - Designed to be as practical as it is beautiful. An inner waist tie and outer belt let you customise the fit exactly as you like, and two deep front pockets mean you're never without somewhere to put your hands (or your phone). The length is flattering on all heights. This is a gown you'll reach for every single day - and one you'll want to gift to everyone you love.
Tell Me The Other Detail - 100% Cotton. Hand printed and hand crafted in India. 2 large front pockets. Inner waist tie for a customised fit. Outer belt to cinch as required. One size only - please see our size chart for measurements. Co-ordinating pyjamas also available.
To Keep Me Looking My Best - I love a cool wash at 30°. Please don't tumble dry me. A warm (not hot) iron keeps me looking fresh. Full washing instructions are inside me to remind you. Block printing by hand means slight variations in pattern and colour - we think that's what makes each one special. No two are ever the same… what story will yours tell?
